Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement!  We are excited to serve you during this season of marriage and wedding planning.  For clarity the old sanctuary is not available for use as there is no heating, it is only our halls that are available for weddings or lets. If you would like the minister of Ibrox Parish Church to officiate your wedding either in the church halls or at another venue please contact Rev. Tara Granados at tgranados@churchofscotland.org.uk.  If you plan to use your own officiant and want to be married in the church halls, please contact ibroxparishchurchlets@gmail.com.

Funerals

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.  Those who believe in me, even though they die, yet shall they live.'

This promise of resurrection in Jesus is central to the Christian faith and it shapes our understanding and approach to death.  There is always grief and sorrow when someone we love dies, and we are committed to walking with you through your time of loss.  To make arrangements for our minister to conduct a service please contact Rev. Tara Granados at tgranados@churchofscotland.org.uk.

Baptisms

Baptism is a sign of being adopted into God's family and marks our entrance into the Christian faith. It is a physical sign and seal of what the Holy Spirit does in us through Jesus Christ.  Many couples approach us to christen their child. There are two options of either baptism (where the parents commit to join the church and raise their child up in the community of faith) or a blessing (where we simply honour the gift that a child is to their parents without any expectation of ongoing involvement in church life).  We are always delighted to celebrate a new life as a child of God, giving thanks and asking God’s blessing on the child and all who will be a part of their life.  If you live in the area or have a connection with the church, please do get in touch with the minister, Rev. Tara Granados at tgranados@churchofscotland.org.uk and arrangements can be made.

(For clarity the old sanctuary is not available for use as there is no heating. Baptisms take place in the Stage Hall where we gather for worship on a Sunday)
