Funerals

The promise of resurrection in Jesus is central to the Christian faith and it shapes our understanding and approach to death.  There is always grief and sorrow when someone we love dies, and we are committed to walking with you through your time of loss.

Baptisms

Baptism is a sign of being adopted into God's family and marks our entrance into the Christian faith. It is a physical sign and seal of what the Holy Spirit does in us through Jesus Christ.  Many couples approach us to christen their child. There are two options of either baptism (where the parents commit to join the church and raise their child up in the community of faith) or a blessing (where we simply honour the gift that a child is to their parents without any expectation of ongoing involvement in church life).  We are always delighted to celebrate a new life as a child of God, giving thanks and asking God’s blessing on the child and all who will be a part of their life.  If you live in the area or have a connection with the church, please do get in touch with the minister, us at 07380830030 or email ibroxparishchurch@gmail.com.
